Incoming first-year students must complete a variety of forms and questionnaires before matriculation at Yale College.

First Steps

If you haven't already, take a moment to activate your Yale NetID, get your Yale Email set up, and review our section on the Yale ID Card Center -- this is where you will be able to submit a picture for your campus ID card. Please note that once you submit your request to activate your NetID it may take several days to complete the process. Most steps will require you to have an active NetID in order to begin.

Yale Connect

In order to access Yale Connect, you must activate your NetID and set up your EliApps email account. When you receive your invitation to Yale Connect via email in early May, you will be able log in to Yale Connect.

Please note that it may take several days for your NetID to fully activate through Yale's information systems. You will not be able to access the Yale Connect page for incoming students until both your Net ID and Yale email account have been activated. Upon completion of these steps, visit the Yale Connect homepage by following the link to "Yale Connect" and then click "Sign in with your Campus ID". Use your NetID to sign in and use your Yale email address to create your account.

Health and Physical Fitness Forms

You will find the necessary forms relating to health and fitness on our Health website. This also includes forms for Varsity Athletes and the form required to waive health coverage.
