The health and safety of our students is of principal concern to Yale College. The Dean’s Office has developed a variety of programs whose goal is to reduce dangerous drinking and substance abuse through prevention, education, intervention, policy, and coordination with healthcare providers. The Office of the Alcohol and Other Drugs Harm Reduction Initiative (AODHRI, pronounced “Audrey”) provides students with critical information concerning alcohol and other drugs, the campus culture related to these, and the policies and procedures that Yale has established to protect the physical and emotional health of our students.
