Important Dates and Deadlines for New Students
Early Start and Yale Summer Session Students upload documentation as directed
Vaccination, health, and physical record forms available
Print the vaccination record form. Take this form to your healthcare provider now and have it completed. Download and complete the health and physical exam form.
Directed Studies (DS) application opens
Yale College Programs of Study (YCPS) available online
Deadline for admitted students to accept Yale's offer of admission
Yale Payment Plan Enrollment Opens
Deadline to Submit Housing, Advising and Camp Yale Form
Deadline to request special consideration in rooming because of a disability or medical condition (including environmental allergies)
Deadline to submit the Jewish life and observance of Sabbath and holidays at Yale form
High School Math and Science Survey opens

Deadline to apply for Directed Studies (DS)
Residential college affiliation, roommate, suite, FroCo, and Camp Yale Program assignments will be released (this date is subject to change).
Once you are assigned to a residential college you will be assigned to a first-year counselor. Your counselor lives in the same residence and will help to ease the transition to the academic, social, and cultural life of Yale College. You may also sign up for a peer liaison. Peer liaisons are upperclassmen who help connect first-year students to the wealth of support and programming initiatives based in the LGBTQ Resource Center, the University Chaplain’s Office, the Office of International Students and Scholars, the Afro-American Cultural Center, the Asian American Cultural Center, the La Casa Latino Cultural Center, and the Native American Cultural Center.

Deadline for uploading photo for use on your Yale University Student ID Card
If you are a new incoming Yale University student, you will be requested to electronically submit a photo for use on your Yale University Student ID Card. If a suitable photo is successfully submitted and approved by the deadline, your Student ID Card with will prepared prior to your arrival on campus.

Move-in day for new first-year and transfer students. Students may arrive between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The Housing Portal will become available over the summer to register for a move-in appointment.
