“In the twenty-first century, no education will be complete without a significant infusion of science and quantitative reasoning. The curricular reforms now unfolding in Yale College were developed expressly to meet the need for a scientifically literate citizenry.”
–Richard C. Levin, President
Sweeping changes are now under way for science at Yale. From genomics to nanotechnology and from materials science to biomedical engineering, Yale is building new resources for its students, faculty, and programs. Through their course work and in the lab, Yale undergraduates have the opportunity to learn from leading thinkers in their fields. The faculty’s dedication to teaching underscores Yale’s commitment to foster new ideas and encourage active and independent thinking. We are preparing a generation of future scientists—as well as leaders in business, government, and the academy—to be the innovators of tomorrow.
